Hi there! I hope you’re smack dab in the middle of all the joy the holidays have to offer!

In this post I have gathered all the best of skin care, including face washes, serums, oils, exfoliators, hand creams and lip balms, nail care and polishes, and cosmetics including, foundation, powder, blush, contour and bronzer and of course, lip glosses and liners!

I’ve written before about how Goop’s Gwyneth’s Less is More Routine trio of products has totally improved my skin, and now I’m completely on fire about two new to me makeup products: Makeup by Mario contour and bronzer stick and Milk’s Jelly Tint lip and cheek stain.

I love a good blush, like George Costanza says on Seinfeld, “I like a good cheek. I like a pinkish hue….’ LOL!!!!

This Milk Jelly Tint in Fresh, which is a soft pink, is perfect for my skin tone. It offers a natural looking flush without giving clown town vibes. Too much blush will make you look like you have a fever or are attending clown college, so be warned! Blush can be such an easy way to ruin a pretty makeup application. I also err on the side of less is more. Subtle is prettier. A dab will do ya and you’ll look glowy and beautiful.

I’ve never been one to be all aboard the contour wagon. It always seemed like too much work and in most cases the finished product was not suited for daily life at the grocery store or getting breakfast with a friend. Or even for out to dinner with my sweetheart of a husband. Until NOW….

Makeup by Mario, who was famously Kim K’s makeup artist back in the day and who really started this whole contour for the every woman thing, now has his own line of products and is a star in his own right! He is so deserving!!!!! His genius has been poured into so many great products, none more loved by me than his SoftSculpt Cream Contour & Bronzer Stick. I use the Light shade and it’s very subtle and just gives you a hint of something rather than a full on Kardashian face of 25 layers of shading. Mario designed this stick for daily wear and it is definitely perfect for your daytime activities like pilates, school run, errands, garden center, coffee with a friend and whatever else you have on your schedule. It is not going to make you look crazy or overdone!
